Abstract:
Objective of the study. To study the efficacy of Mexidol in the combination treatment of primary open-angle glaucoma. Materials and methods. The study included patients aged 55 to 75 years with a diagnosis of stage I-III POAG in both eyes, with normalized IOP (no more than 21 mmHg according to Goldman); no serious ophthalmological or general somatic pathology affecting the course and results of the study; not using benzodiazepine anxiolytics, anticonvulsants, or antiparkinsonian agents as concomitant therapy, and not participating in another clinical trial in the last 3 months.
