Abstract. In patients with functional class II angina, a positive, high correlation was demonstrated between the number of angina attacks and high anxiety levels. Specific effects of ethylmethylhydroxypyridine succinate on symptoms of personal anxiety, the number of angina attacks, blood pressure, the frequency and nature of cardiac arrhythmias, and heart rate variability were identified.
