Abstract:
Neurological complications of the COVID-19 coronavirus infection caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus are extremely diverse and occur in more than 30% of patients. For example, COVID-19 can cause ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes, encephalopathy, meningitis, autoimmune diseases such as Guillain-Barré syndrome, and olfactory and taste disturbances. However, the fight against the SARS-CoV-2 virus does not end with screening and treatment of acute conditions. The long-term health consequences of COVID-19 survivors are currently being actively studied.
